Navigating the institution: Indigenous postgraduate perspectives

This workshop brings together the stories of three Māori postgraduate student journeys of Kaupapa Māori research within mainstream tertiary institutions. Experiences of Māori specific support structures and lessons learned through diverse pathways will be shared. This workshop will: 1) Create a safe space for group discussion that explores ways to embrace indigenous values and culture in postgraduate study 2) Facilitate students and supervisors to plan, prepare and position themselves so they can flourish as indigenous peoples within these spaces.
