Responsible-izing: Using experiential/service learning to meaningfully engage with Indigenous knowledge


In this workshop, we will discuss our experiences, successes, and opportunities for growth, and how we employ the SENCER principles of experiential learning and pop-up learning communities to inform curriculum and pedagogy as a way to create experiential, place-based learning in the context of meaningful engagement with indigenous knowledge. We will then do some hands-on activities to help audience members begin to explore utilizing these ideas in their classrooms.
